“Finally, it’s here!”

Although it’s late on October 6, as previously announced, a notice regarding Sayoh’s tentatively named ‘Ugadol Audition’ has been posted.

If you ask why it’s called Ugadol, one of the nicknames representing Pangea TV is ‘Ugauga’.

It doesn’t have a good meaning, as it’s a derogatory term created by users from the rival LebitTV, implying that Pangea is a primitive continent where the viewers are considered natives making ‘ugauga’ sounds.

At first, Pangea TV viewers were quite offended by the nickname, but later it became a self-deprecating joke and was accepted as a common term.

“This had a really huge impact.”

The Ugadol Audition was undoubtedly a successful content.

In the short term, it sparked a virtual boom for Pangea TV, and in the long term, it succeeded in developing a virtual idol crew through auditions.

Of course, there are many opinions claiming it was a failure.

There were so many incidents that it strayed far from the original goal.

Still, I hold it in high regard.

Despite numerous criticisms, the strong mental resilience to endure until the end.

Furthermore, it boasted significant recognition and stature among virtuals in 2025 before the reset, so it can hardly be considered a failure, right?

Considering that the finalists were regulars who were doing streams for the first time or viewers with an average of less than 30 viewers, it’s even more so.

“Huh! I’m nervous.”

My heart races.

The participation in the Ugadol Audition.

It will be a significant turning point in my streaming life.

I wasn’t just saying it.

Even if I didn’t make it to the final in the audition before the reset, participants who achieved meaningful results gained a premium.

For example, participants in Round 4 of Ugadol or final candidates.

Thus, the streaming tier has increased significantly, and when it comes to collaboration or large-scale content later, it provides substantial benefits in terms of recognition.

In short, depending on the performance in this audition, it will determine whether I start my civil service life at grade 9 or grade 7.

“Starting at grade 7 is simply unacceptable.”

Even though it was late, I immediately wrote and sent the audition application form via email.

Then I left a Discord message for Lucy.

Now that the audition schedule is out, I told her to fill out the application and transfer quickly.

After my conversation with Bluebee, I was able to persuade Lucy for cooperation, and I practiced streaming as a virtual streamer over the past week.

I consistently helped out in the secret chat.

Thanks to that, preparations for the transfer were nearly complete.

Only Lucy’s decision and timing coordination remained.

“The audition is from the 15th, so I hope before the 10th at the latest. I need to get my name out a bit before that.”

Reviewing the carefully planned strategies, I logged into FM Community.

The Pangea TV bulletin board had turned into a completely different ecosystem compared to a month ago.

In a den without a tiger, the fox reigns.

The gaps left by fans of big company streamers who had fled to the StarCraft bulletin board were filled by buttugi.

Young fans who had opened their eyes to virtual and viewers familiar with virtuals who were passing through YouTube and LebitTV.

Moreover, fans of the streamer from Lena Universe who decided to transfer stuck around, and the issue of Ugadol spread to LebitTV, attracting even those refugee viewers high on audition dopamine.

– Isn’t this a bit too much?

This was originally our home, but we got eaten by buttugi

– Don’t be too dismissive of the natives; try virtual once

– I’m 40 years old and finally opened my eyes to virtual

– Wow, the bulletin board really got eaten. Where did everyone go? Come back to the main base

– From now on, the Pangea TV bulletin board will be ruled by our buttugi lol

Some users wore buttugi masks to joke around, but this firepower was genuine.

It was clearly revealed by the number of viewers.

Every time Sayoh announced something related to the audition, around 10,000 viewers, roughly double the existing tier, took their seats, and whenever virtual streamers went live, buttugi would flock in loudly to show their presence.

They didn’t just fill in numbers.

As serious as they were about virtual, they also generously supported Candy.

If the number of viewers is good, donations flow in abundantly?

This created even greater interest and served as a driving force to attract new transfer students.

Thus, users from LebitTV moved to follow the new transfer students, eventually leading to a positive cycle of expanding the virtual scene on Pangea TV.

No one but me would have imagined such a future.

Most would have thought, “It’ll probably just be a short-lived trend.”

“So everyone is wasting this golden opportunity not knowing how good it is.”

I searched carefully on FM Community, but fortunately, there were no posts similar or related to the collaboration content I had in mind.

I browsed around casually without logging in and looked at the streams of Lena Universe and the transfer students, but they were just doing personal broadcasts boringly.

“Everyone moved too hastily to transfer. They probably don’t have the mind or time to prepare something.”

Collaboration content is fundamentally more appealing than personal broadcasts, so it entails significant risk.

If the quality is low or it’s not entertaining, not only their stream but also the streams of those participating in the collaboration can fail together.

Thus, the burden on the organizer significantly increases.

Isn’t it said that there’s no such thing as a pleasure without responsibility?

Most streamers would hesitate to organize their own content while participating in others.

So it may be natural for the newly transferred virtual streamers not to expect feasible collaboration content.

“Knowing the future is a scam. You can prepare in advance.”

While those transfer students struggle to adapt to the sudden change in environment, let’s charge ahead all at once.

That ambition was the content I had been preparing since the end of September.

Moreover, this collaboration content has an excellent format that can also take care of Lucy.

The next morning.

I received a Discord reply from Lucy, who woke up early.

She said she could transfer from October 9.

It would have been better if it were Saturday the 8th, but Sunday isn’t bad either.

“Then I’ll set the time for 2 PM on the 9th. The content should wrap up within about 2 hours, and after it ends, we’ll go straight into the transfer debut broadcast. I’ll push the lure hard, so don’t be nervous and do well. It’s a really good opportunity.”

“… Okay. I got it. I’ll prepare hard.”

I didn’t hold back on support, providing materials like the PPT I used during my debut broadcast in preparation for Lucy’s transfer first broadcast.

With my proactive assistance, Lucy seemed to realize something; even practicing in the secret chat, she prepared really hard.

Probably feeling a sense of debt and responsibility for getting help from me, who is younger than her… actually older, but…

That’s a good response.

Basically, Lucy isn’t ambitious and has a laid-back personality, but she still accomplishes what she needs to do.

It’s because she doesn’t want to burden others because of something she couldn’t do.

“Lucy is ready, so I also need to write the notice. Otherwise, it might feel sparse with just one person for sound as well.”

I posted a notice to recruit another virtual streamer for this collaboration content.
