The Sacred Manager Life - Chapter 116

SN Enter Executive Office —

Vice President Kim Tae-sang frowns as he reviews the documents handed to him by the head of Actor Team 2.

“Is this list accurate?”

“Yes, Vice President. All department heads have verified it.”

It’s a list of staff assigned to support actor Han Ki-jin from Team 2.

Kim Tae-sang clicks his tongue as he scans the list.

“Anyone would think he’s on Cha So-yeon’s level. There’s even a manager here who doesn’t seem to do anything?”

“It looks like he just added his friends’ names. No one’s ever seen them on set.”

Han Ki-jin is an actor known for his looks but constantly criticized for robotic acting and poor delivery.

He’s a complete scumbag—staff abuse, messy relationships with women, drunk driving, obstruction of justice, and countless violent incidents, big and small, all proving his rotten character.

Yet, he keeps landing roles and commercials solely because he’s the youngest son of Hanseong Group’s chairman.

Every time a scandal breaks, he miraculously silences law enforcement, victims, and the media.

His father, Chairman Han Kyu-seop, wields immense political and financial influence, and his wife comes from a powerful legal family.

Though signed under SN Enter, he’s untouchable—no one dares cross him, and he even handpicks his own managers and stylists.

“What should we do?”

“What do you mean? How long are we going to keep paying these people? Clean house. From now on, managers and stylists will be assigned by the company.”

“Ki-jin won’t take this lying down.”

The team leader, well aware of his vile temper, shudders.

“Don’t deal with him yourself. If he has complaints, tell him to come to me directly.”

“If we treat Ki-jin like this, we’ll also sour relations with Hanseong Group. Isn’t that why you accepted him in the first place?”

Hanseong Group provides advertising deals and production funding for programs because of Ki-jin.

On top of that, Kim Tae-sang personally receives no small sum from them.

“I don’t plan to keep doing that. You know I’ve changed.”

“Still…”

“That bastard Ki-jin is nothing without Hanseong Group. And Hanseong Group itself will collapse soon.”

“Hanseong Group?”

Though not one of the top five chaebols, it’s never fallen below the top 10 in financial rankings.

With a lineup of lucrative subsidiaries, its liquidity is said to surpass even the top five.

Its tightly knit political and financial connections also bolster the group’s stability.

“There’s a reason. Just go and inform Ki-jin.”

“Yes, Vice President.”

Watching the team leader leave, Kim Tae-sang mutters under his breath.

“It’s about time Joo-won made his move…”

Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province —

Han Ki-jin’s second home is here.

A gathering spot for his degenerate friends to throw sex parties.

Liquor bottles litter the living room floor, while white powder and syringes cover the table.

A few sleazy guys laugh crudely with women draped over them.

A half-reclining man scratches his head, scowling.

“Kim Tae-sang said that?”

“Yes, he said from now on, managers and stylists will be assigned by the company—”

Before the manager could finish, Ki-jin hurls the glass in his hand.

It barely misses the manager, shattering against the wall.

Even then, the drunken, drugged crowd just giggles.

“That bastard’s got a death wish. How dare he say that to me?”

Ignoring the manager’s explanation, Ki-jin calls Kim Tae-sang directly.

“Hey, Kim Tae-sang. You’re kicking out all my people?”

“You don’t need that many. And since when does a signed actor call an executive by name like that? You’re even more of a disrespectful little shit than I thought.”

“What? Little shit?”

Ki-jin’s face twists like a demon’s at the absurdity.

“You fucking bastard. You got a death wish? You know who I am, and you’re running your mouth like that?”

“Oh, I know. You’re the trashy heir of Hanseong Group’s chairman, a worthless bastard who’d be nothing without daddy, a perverted piece of shit who only knows how to throw his weight around. Want me to go on?”

“Wh-what the fuck? You son of a— Where are you? Where the hell are you?!”

He grips the phone like he’ll crush it, staggering to his feet, but his drunken body can’t stay upright.

After a few steps, he collapses face-first, gasping for air.

“I’ll fucking kill you…!”

The manager, unable to watch, helps him up and into a chair.

Ki-jin chugs his spiked drink, finally calming down.

“Yong-ho.”

“Yeah.”

A blond guy groping a woman’s chest turns his head.

“Since when has Kim Tae-sang been like this? It’s like he’s a different person.”

“Haven’t seen him in a while either. He’s not even talking about work.”

“So, you guys are screwed?”

“The fuck you mean ‘screwed’? I’m not backing down. That bastard’s not worth shit.”

“Hmm, is that so…?”

Ki-jin scratches his head, then smirks viciously.

“Pull some guys from my dad’s side.”

“Why?”

Chairman Han Kyu-seop, ever paranoid, employs a private security team at mercenary levels.

Many are international fighters connected through Yong-ho’s network.

“Why? He’s gonna pay for crossing me. Make sure he can’t walk for a while.”

“Really? But things’ll get messy if we kill him.”

“I’ll keep it out of the news. Just do it right. At least break an arm and a leg.”

“Perfect. I was getting sick of his face.”

Satisfied with the answer, Ki-jin sprawls on the couch, grinning.

Nearby, a guy stares at his phone with a dazed look, then slips his hand into his pants, groping himself.

“The fuck’s wrong with you?”

The screen shows a fancam of a girl group.

“Damn, isn’t this bitch hot? I wanna tie her to a chair and fuck her brains out.”

The girl dancing in the center is—no, extremely lewd.

The kind that makes you think she’d taste different from the usual.

“Who’s this?”

“Honey Pop. Must be rookies.”

“Give it here.”

After watching the video, Ki-jin calls his manager.

“Look into them. Especially the one dancing in the middle.”

[Nova Entertainment’s first girl group will debut next month. Selected through a private audition three years ago, Ian, Tasha, Dasol, Eunji, and Cassie will enter the fierce girl group market under the name Everglow. With all members boasting top-tier visuals…]

Strange.

There are articles about their debut, but no actual activity records.

Posts sharing the news exist on forums, but there’s no follow-up.

They never debuted, despite the coverage.

‘Nova Enter.’

The name of a company tied to bad history surfaces again.

It’s no coincidence I met Dasol.

‘Is Dasol also a target for salvation?’

My phone rings—Kim Tae-sang.

“Let’s grab a drink.”

“Why should I?”

“The Devil doesn’t mingle with those who have no business with him.”

Meaning he has business with me.

“Aren’t you curious what I’ll say?”

The meeting place is Scarlet.

A high-end bar seized by Doksa when Yang Seok-dae disappeared.

A bulky guy at the entrance recognizes me and bows.

“You here, hyung-nim?”

“Skip the ‘hyung-nim.’ Don’t tell Doksa I’m here.”

“Yes, hyung-nim.”

Little shit doesn’t listen.

As I step inside, Kim Tae-sang calls.

Impatient bastard.

“I’m at the entrance. Coming in.”

“Don’t. Head to the underground parking lot in the back. I’ve got something to show you.”

In the dimly lit lot, a luxury car is parked.

Kim Tae-sang smokes in front of it.

“What’s taking you?”

“Just dealing with them.”

He points—a group of bulky men approach, wielding bats and pipes.

At least ten, all masked to hide their identities.

“Who the hell are they?”

“They’re here to break my limbs. No hard feelings, but the Devil doesn’t forgive enemies.”

As Kim Tae-sang’s eyes gleam, darkness envelops the lot.

The men tense, gripping their weapons.

Then, the darkness splits—something emerges.

‘Dogs?’

Wolf or dog, they stand like humans.

With glowing red eyes, they lick their lips, advancing.

At first, I thought one had three legs—but the middle one was a grotesque, throbbing phallus.

“That…the demon you keep around?”

“No, just borrowed from Sodom. A demon who spread bestiality there. Perfect for playing with foolish humans.”

The men scream, fleeing, but the demon catches them one by one.

Its multiple hands bind them tightly, tearing their clothes.

The massive phallus twitches, then—an unspeakable scene unfolds.

Horrific screams echo as blood sprays everywhere.

Their fragile bodies can’t withstand the monstrous size.

“Feels better now. Let’s go.”

“What happens to them?”

“They die. Their stomachs explode while they sleep. The bodies will be dumped in the Abyss—no traces left.”

Being a demon, he shows no hesitation in taking lives.

“Don’t think the ‘no killing’ rule applies. You’ll be killing soon too.”

“What? Why would I kill anyone?”

“God will entrust you with judgment. If He deems it ‘judgment,’ death is inevitable. The one inside you must’ve said it—it’s for justice.”

「It means distinguishing good from evil, loving good and hating evil. Rewarding the righteous, punishing the wicked.」

That’s how the divine spirit explained justice.

So ‘punishment’ includes death.
